As President of EMCOR Services MSI, Bernie's primary responsibility is steering the company to meet the needs of their valued clients. Bernie recognizes that exceptional customer service, craftsmanship, quality, and a sense of urgent, competitive pricing are keys to sustaining and developing long-term relationships and growing the business. Bernie is dedicated to upholding MSI's culture, striving to be the top mechanical company of choice, by assuring that the best and brightest in the industry are recruited to MSI. Through his leadership and dedication, the company has been recognized on a local and national level for its ability to embrace technology to provide safe, efficient, and productive indoor environments.
With over 40 years of experience in commercial and industrial mechanical systems, Bernie's expertise includes developing engineered solutions to the most complex mechanical issues related to data centers, clean room manufacturing, laboratories, hospitals, and modern office buildings. He is highly knowledgeable in service and maintenance, test and balance, building automation systems, building systems commissioning, retro-commissioning, indoor air quality, and design build construction.
Bernie is a licensed Certified Mechanical Contractor for the State of Florida. He is accredited by the National Environmental Balancing Bureau as an Air and Hyrdonics Test and Balance Professional, Building Systems Commissioning Professional, and Retro-Commissioning Professional.
He served as President of the Central Florida Chapter of ASHRAE from 1994 to 1995. He has held numerous committee chairman positions and has served on the Board of Directors. He has been an active member of the chapter for over 30 years.
Bernie is President of the Mid-Florida Mechanical Contractors Association. He serves as chairman of the Board of Directors for the Local Union 803 Plumbers and Pipefitters Health and Welfare and Pension Trust Fund. Bernie also serves on the Board Directors for the Local Union 803 Joint Apprentice Trust Fund.
The Personal Side
Bernie has been happily married to his wife, Judy, for more than 35 years. They enjoy spending time together on the Inter-Coastal waterways of Central Florida and riding their Harley Davidson motorcycle along Florida's east coast. He also enjoys playing guitar and golfing in his spare time.
